In a YouTube video (video) posted on May 4, 2012, Brother Paul Diveny asks Delbarton alumni to open their wallets, “at a time when the school truly needs and appreciates your most generous support.”

According to a Delbarton student, Brother Paul Diveny is in the process of renewing his headmaster’s contract. Back in January, Brother Paul instructed the Delbarton students and staff to not discuss the breaking sexual abuse scandal with anyone outside the Delbarton community.

When asked about the scandal on May 5, 2012, the same Delbarton student said that, “we don’t walk about sexual abuse.”
